Captain Craig Brent-White is a Master Mariner (Unlimited) and Marine Pilot and well known Kimberley identity, with more than 35 years of experience on vessels from 25m to 330m in the Kimberley. Craig first visited the Kimberley in 1967, and then went on to spend a decade in the Broome pearling industry, seven years commercially fishing for Barramundi, followed by 25 years in the oil and gas industry, towing semisubmersible oil rigs across Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Alongside those pursuits, Craig piloted cruise ships through the Kimberley, and has been instrumental in developing the Kimberley cruise industry.

Craig brought the first large expedition cruise ship into the Kimberley in 1990, and the passengers included some of the most experienced expedition travellers in the world. Their responses were that it was one of the best experiences they'd ever had, on par with the most iconic and beautiful wilderness areas of the world. That trip cemented the attraction for Kimberley cruising. Since then, Craig has provided voyage planning and pilotage to many of the world's leading cruise companies, and some of the largest cruise ships, to safely experience the very best of the Kimberley. Craig's knowledge of the Kimberley region, its waterways, islands, nature, culture and history is unparalleled.
